Privacy

This page covers what we collect when you request a free Morning Brief sample from negosyante.ph, and what happens to it. We've written it the way we'd explain it to an operator over email, not as a legal template — if anything here is unclear, email us at hello@negosyante.ph and we'll answer directly.

Site analytics

Separately from the sample flow below, we use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (Plausible) on this website to see which sections people actually reach — for example, whether visitors make it to the sample request form. It only records aggregate page and button counts: no cookies, no IP address stored, no session recording, and no way for us to tell one visitor from another. It never sees or connects to the information you submit below.

What we collect

When you request a free sample, we ask for:

• Your name, business name, and email address
• A few details about your business — number of branches, business type, which spreadsheet tool you use, and your preferred delivery time
• What you're interested in trying, if you tell us

We don't ask you to paste a sheet link or upload a spreadsheet from the marketing site. After you submit the form, we follow up with a secure link for you to sign in and choose the Google Sheet from the app.

Why we collect it

Only to prepare and send your sample Morning Brief and follow up with you about it. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.

How sheet access works

Sheet access happens inside app.negosyante.ph after you sign in with Google. You choose the file Negosyante may use — we only ever request Google's drive.file permission, which grants access to that one file you pick, never a general listing of your Drive.

What we keep vs. what we don't

During setup, we map your spreadsheet's column headers (e.g., “Date”, “Branch”, “Total Sales”) to internal business concepts — we call these “data fields.” This mapping tells the Morning Brief what to look for in your sheet.

We keep:

• Sheet structure — column names, sheet/tab layout, and how they map to business concepts (sales, expenses, branches, etc.)
• Aggregated historical patterns (Business Memory) — for example, “food cost has averaged 32% over six months” — so the Brief can tell you when something is unusual for your business, not just different from yesterday
• Alert thresholds and briefing preferences you configure

We don't keep:

• Raw row-level data from your spreadsheet — individual transaction amounts, employee names, supplier details. These are read by software during scheduled Brief generation, used to produce the email, and then discarded. They are not stored in our database.

No one at Negosyante opens your spreadsheet to read your daily sales or check your branch totals. Your numbers are processed by software, not reviewed by a person.

Scheduled access

Automated jobs read the selected sheet on a schedule (typically once daily, early morning Philippine time) to prepare the approved Brief. The system reads the necessary values, generates the email, hands it to our email provider, and discards the raw values from our system. No other access happens outside this scheduled window unless you request a manual re-run.

Negosyante's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use data from your Google Sheet to train AI/ML models, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

We use outside services to make this work:

• Google — lets you sign in and choose the spreadsheet Negosyante may access.
• Clerk — manages customer sign-in and Google connection tokens for app.negosyante.ph.
• Resend — delivers the email notification to our inbox and your secure setup link to you.

Both are infrastructure providers, not marketers or data brokers — neither is based in the Philippines, so your information does briefly pass through servers outside the country to reach us. We don't share your information with anyone else.

Keeping this simple

There's no password for the free sample step. Form submissions are sent over HTTPS. When you connect a sheet, you can disconnect it from the app so Negosyante stops reading it.

Your rights

We're based in the Philippines, so this is handled under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). You can ask us at any time to tell you what we have on file, correct it, or delete it — email hello@negosyante.ph and we'll take care of it. You can also raise a concern with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) if you feel we haven't handled something properly.

If how we handle your data changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and note the new date at the top.
